The Concert

Velvet Rhythms is a fundraising concert produced by the Bulwagan Foundation Trust which also featured a charity auction with lots of goods and services up for grabs.  The concert took place at Bar Bodega (101 Ghuznee Street, Wellington) on 29 October 2005 and started at 8PM.

Viva was backed by a powerhouse cast of Wellington musicians that include Massey University’s jazz piano tutor Kirsten MacKenzie, drummer Roger Sellars of “The Boptet” and “The Vipers” fame and bassist extraordinaire Paul Dyne.

The concert was a success and everyone especially those who won the auction went home happy and raving about their purchase.
