Gloria Concert

A pre-Chistmas concert by the Wellington Filipino Community Choir. The line-up includes original Filipino music (in Filipino and in English), a South American lullaby, a Maori song that was gifted to the choir, a Kiwi Christmas carol and some classics that are truly challenging.

Movie Fundraiser - Kingsman: The Golden Circle

A movie fundraising where tickets were sold out, and donations came in as well from those who couldn’t make it to the movies but were more than happy to contribute towards the cause. Proceeds from this effort will certainly help to ensure the Filipino Community Centre’s continuous operation, and benefit the community at large.

It all started in 1999 with a simple concert lead by now known as the Wellington Filipino Community Choir. Since then fundraising events, projects, collaborations and other activities have been carried out successfully. Here is a list of past projects and events reflecting the work done by the trusts, volunteers and communities over the years in obtaining the Filipino Community Centre.
